I am married and have two daughters, Dakota and Mahaley. Throughout my eleven years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work with children ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade. My teaching career began in Clayton County, Georgia, where I taught 4th grade at Edmonds Elementary for 2 years. I specialized in reading and writing, and I was given extensive training on standard based teaching for reading, writing, and math through America's Choice Teaching. The next 2 years were spent at Creekside Elementary School as a PE teacher with very large class sizes. I instructed over 150 students at one time ranging from kindergarten through 5th grade. I played softball in high school and college, and my daughters are both athletes, so I spend most of my time at a ball field. I love being a part of the Chapman family.
