Shirley A. Johns

Hello! I am a military spouse, through my travels I have had the opportunity to teach at both elementary and secondary grade levels in several states, as well as in Germany. I am a Collaborative Special Education Teacher and I am thrilled to say this is my 2nd year teaching at Grissom High School. I have taught in various classroom settings including co-teaching in a special education inclusion classroom. I am committed to my student's success inside the classroom and in life. I believe that student success is created through meaningful relationships.

My family and our little dog (Aubie) mean the world to me. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, exercising, and watching movies. I look forward to meeting all my students and working with them this year!
