Dr. David Belton

Dr. David G. Belton is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Management (1981) and a B.S. degree in Marketing (1983). After working in the business environment in the United States and overseas, he returned to Huntsville and enrolled at Alabama A&M University and earned a MBA in Logistics (1989). After a few years of working in Huntsville, he returned to “The Hill” of A&M and obtained a Master’s degree in Elementary Education (2000). He entered the Huntsville City School system as a teacher at West Mastin Lake (Dawson) Elementary School. Two years later he found himself at L. J. Morris Elementary where he taught for several years. During that time, he returned to “The Hill” where he earned a Doctorate degree in Reading and Literary (2010). Dr. Belton joined the staff of MLK in the fall of 2015 where he taught 3rd grade. He is now the science and social studies for 5th grade and look forward to having a great year with his new students.
