Counseling: Understanding Financial Aid & FAFSA

Sep
24
Date:
Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 6:00pm

Join us for an informational session on the topic of financial aid.  We will discuss the role of financial aid in the college process, how to apply for federal financial aid, and tips for making this process as simple as possible.  The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step in applying for financial aid including Pell grant, loans, work study, etc.  Applying early gives students the best chance to get the most funding for college.  The FAFSA opens October 1 for our current seniors, and this meeting will help parents prepare and know what to expect in the process.

*This session is open to parents of all grade levels, but it is most timely for 12th grade.*
