Native American Heritage Month: Paint Night

Nov
14
Date:
Thursday, November 14, 2019 -
4:30pm to 5:30pm

The celebration of National American Indian Heritage Month has happened every November since a resolution was signed in 1990 by President George H.W. Bush.  The month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people.  We will celebrate Native American Heritage Month by hosting several family events for our students and their families to enjoy.  Remember, all events hosted by Huntsville City Schools NAIE Program are FREE.

This event will take place at Goldsmith Schiffman Elementary School in the cafeteria.  Each participant will have the opportunity to paint a Native American inspired picture under the guidance of a professional artist.

*This event is free, but you must have a ticket from the Native American & Indian Edcuation office.*

Use the Ticket Request Form to reserve your spot and/or request tickets for any of the HCS NAIE events.
