HCS Elementary Greenpower Teams Compete in Boeing 30s

This past weekend five HCS Greenpower Goblin teams competed in the Boeing 30s at the Huntsville Quarter Midget Association racetrack. Teams submitted a PowerPoint presentation and competed in two 30-minute race sessions. Congratulations to Hampton Cove Elementary for winning First Place Overall out of 17 teams. All of the students should be extremely proud of the hard work they put into the program and the race. A team of exceptional HCS teachers led their teams through the build process, presentation instruction, and race monitoring, leading to a great learning experience for all present.
