Mr. Maynard James

I live by a Booker T. Washington saying- "Obstacles are only stepping stones to success." This saying has motivated me throughout my life and has been ingrained in how I have approached my diverse teaching career.

A native of Huntsville, AL, and a product of Huntsville City Schools- I am truly invested in my hometown. Throughout my 10 plus years of teaching, I have had the opportunity to grow within my profession in a plethora of places. One of those places being overseas in the United Arab Emirates where I taught math to local boys. Returning back to the AAA family has been like returning home after a long trip. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, spending time with family, watching documentaries, and being creative. I look forward to sharing my diverse teaching experiences and broadening the minds of my scholars as they strive to become productive citizens in a globally connected world.
