7th Grade Science
Exciting things are happening in middle school science classes. Our seventh graders have been studying the human body, and students have had the opportunity to view samples of tissues in the microscope in order to discover that all cells are designed for their particular function. Students have also used pumps to create models of the heart and other materials to design a respiratory model. Students have also monitored their own body’s ability to stabilize itself after various exercises and activities. Our sixth graders have become little meteorologists as they have learned how the unequal heating of the earth drives currents and many weather patterns. This week they are working on their IB storm chaser projects. We are having fun learning at ASFL!
