Meribeth Taylor Lapidus

When I was a little girl, I wanted to grow up to be Mary Poppins, because she was always singing songs to the young children she cared for. As an elementary music teacher, I feel I have finally reached that goal. I truly enjoy being, and making music, with children of all ages. In addition to teaching at Williams P-6, I also teach elementary music at ASFL, and I teach 7th Grade Piano Lap for AGT, Williams Jr. High. I have twenty years of experience teaching middle school general music and choir, high school choir, and private voice both privately and at the university level. I currently serve as the Music Director for Temple B'nai Sholom in downtown Huntsville, and I teach Aural Skills and Sight-reading at Ars Nova School of the Arts. I enjoy reading, yoga, and white-water rafting with my husband, Jeff. I have a grown daughter and two step-daughters, and my husband and I have shared custody of a Mal-Shi named Daisy.
