Amy Carter

I began my teaching career in Tampa, FL after earning my Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2014. I am privileged to share my love of technology with grades K-5. Working as the Entertainment Technology Academy instructor has allowed me braid my love for collaboration, student-centered exploration, and computer science into a glorious adventure into the wonderful world of technology. I am thrilled to bring my curiosity and enthusiasm for all things tech to the future leaders of Huntsville!

I am married and a mother to two wonderful boys. My husband, Dan, and I married in the spring of 2010. We welcomed our first son in late 2011 and our second in 2015. All my boys keep me on my toes! In our spare time, we love playing board or card games, diving in to the challenges of online gaming, and exploring everything Huntsville has to offer.
