Dear Blossomwood Families,

What a fun week! We had a special performance by Opera Huntsville, a HUGE crowd at K for A Day, and our first graders had an opportunity to take an enjoyable trip to the Cook's Museum of Natural Science in Decatur.

K For a Day

We had a wonderful "K For A Day" event last Friday! Thank you to our prospective families visiting Blossomwood, and thank you to our PTA for helping to provide a special time for our new panthers! The balloons, refreshments, and goodie bags with Blossomwood swag were a big hit, too! Lastly, thank you to our group of parents that helped Thursday to provide just a little extra "spring cleaning" in preparation for our visitors. Teamwork!

Opera Huntsville Performs at Blossomwood

Opera Huntsville visited and performed for our students last Tuesday, April 5th. They presented "Jack & the Beanstalk," and it was fantastic! Our students enjoyed the performance and what a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience this particular genre of music!  Special thanks to our very own, Mrs. Angela Bradshaw (parent at Blossomwood), for offering and coordinating this event!

Sincerely,
Bradley A. Scott, Ed.D.
