Principal's Message 08-16-21

Dear Blossomwood Families,

Well, the first full week of school was a good one! Here are a couple of good things from that week:

  • Laptops were distributed to students.
  • We started music and ETA (Entertainment Technology Academy) classes on Wednesday.
  • Our safety patrols started helping on the carline. Please continue to carpool as that is helping the line to go quicker.

In addition, I want to brag on a few of our students that participated in the Destination Imagination competition over the summer. These bright and creative students - The Covid Cucumbers, as they called themselves, won 10th place in their division at the International Global Finals competition this summer, and they also earned a Renaissance Award, which is this:

The Renaissance Award recognizes those among us who demonstrate extraordinary amounts of effort and preparation in their solutions or outstanding skill in engineering, design or performance. While the destination is creativity, these fellow travelers make the journey itself memorable.

Congratulations to the Covid Cucumbers! - Bright Murphree, Angie McLellan, Olivia Santiago, Abby Hurst, Kayleigh Smith, Maeve Sherlock.

Keep up the good work boys and girls!

Sincerely,
Brad Scott
