Principal's Summer Message
Dear Blossomwood Families,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write to you as the principal of Blossomwood Elementary School! I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the instructional leader for a school that has always been known for making student learning a priority. Together, our mission will continue to be to help our students “Blossom, Explore, and Succeed” as they become problem solvers, productive citizens, and students that strive to be the best that they can be.
As previously stated, I am appreciative of the stellar reputation of both Blossomwood Elementary School as well as the supportive Blossomwood community. Both of our sons attended Blossomwood as students, and my wife served as a teacher, reading coach, and instructional partner for fifteen years. If you would like to know more about my professional and personal background, feel free to visit my information page here on the Blossomwood website.
On a side note, if you have not done so already, I encourage you to contact our PTA and become involved. The Blossomwood PTA website may also be found on the Blossomwood Elementary website under the parent section. Research supports that the most successful schools are the ones where parents are involved. Simply stated, student success does not occur by accident. I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet and work with your family, and I hope your family has some time this summer to enjoy each other and create new memories together.
Bradley A. Scott, Ed.D.
P.S. One favor that you will hear me ask often is for each of us to be prepared to brag about our children, our school, our neighbors, and our community. If we don’t brag on our children, who will?
