Robotics Team Advances to State Championship

Blossomwood was proud to have two teams compete at the First Lego League Tournament on December 14.  The Robot Rascals team is advancing to the state championship after earning the Robot Performance Award and the Innovation Project Award for their school courtyard make-over.  The Nuts & Bolts team earned a wild card placement after tying for third place.  One of the coaches, Amy Carter, was honored to receive the Coach's Award.

We'd like to congratulate all of the students on both teams for their outstanding work and for representing Blossomwood so well!  We''d also like to thank Amy Carter and Jamie Whitley for coaching the teams and being great examples to our students.

The Alabama Championship will take place at Hampton Cove Middle School on January 25.
