Chaffee Elementary News 10/16/2022

Principal's Pen

Greetings CES Families,

Hasn’t this weather been wonderful? It is finally feeling like fall, and I love it! We had a great week last week. We celebrated the success of our Cherrydale Fundraiser on Friday! Thank you to our PTA for leading this effort. Funds raised will directly impact our students’ success.

We can't wait to host our Grandparent's Lunch Tuesday! Lunch orders were due October 13. At this time we cannot accept any additional orders. Guests should arrive 15-20 minutes before the grade level lunch time and check in at the front office with his/her identification. The Book Fair will be open for shopping too!

I often get asked by parents/guardians how they can support their child’s academic growth. I’ve included some tips below. Far and away, ensuring your child reads or is read to nightly for 15 or more minutes will make a huge difference in his/her success!

Did you know that you can help our school earn money just by choosing our school as your school to support at Publix  and on Amazon Smile? You’re already shopping at these places, why not have some of the money you spend come back to our school? We appreciate your support! Publix and Amazon Registration

Soar Eagles,

April Clark

Principal
