Chaffee Elementary News 11/7/2022
Greetings CES Families,
During the month of November I like to reflect on the things for which I’m thankful. This year I am so thankful to be a part of the Chaffee Family. The students, teachers, support staff, and families have made me feel so welcomed and supported. Chaffee is a wonderful place to be! Please join me in sending thankful sentiments to our faculty and staff this month—a nice note or email goes a long way in helping a person feel valued.
As a reminder, during afternoon carline in the back of the school, only those with PreK students should pass the yellow sign that indicates where cars should line up to wait. Our PreK students are dismissed earlier than all other grades, so it’s important that they can get in line where they need to be. Thank you for your help with this.
Your student may have mentioned having a substitute in PE this past week. We do have two substitutes covering our PE classes while we work through the process of hiring a PE teacher. I am appreciative of Coach Washington and Ms. Oliver helping us during this transition. I will send an email to introduce our new PE teacher as soon as one is hired. Please reach out to me with any questions/concerns regarding PE. Thank you for your support!
