    Welcome to the Chaffee Library!

My name is Mrs. Craig, and I am your librarian. I am excited to share my love of reading with you and assist all the students in becoming effective and wise users of information. The library is open from 8:00 - 2:45 each school day. Students will visit the library weekly. During that time, students will have lessons, story time/book discussions and book checkout time. Pre-Kindergarten - First Grade, may checkout 1 book Second - Fourth Grade, may checkout 2 books (1 AR book and 1 free choice book). Fifth Grade , may check out 2 books, but after students demonstrate responsibility they may select 3 books (at least 1 book must be an AR book). All books are checked out for 1 week. There are no fines for late books, but a new book cannot be borrowed until the book is returned. Students are responsible for returning their library materials on-time and in good condition. If a book is lost or destroyed a replacement fee of $17 will be charged.
