Classes usually visit the school counselor for lessons every other week. All of the guidance lessons are based on the American School Counseling Association (A.S.C.A.), which is the national model where the focus is on academics, career, and personal social/development for all students.

The primary focus of small group sessions is on social skills and helping selected students discuss specific concerns that they have in common with other students. *Parental permission is required for small group participation.
