Principal's Summer Message

June 2020

Dear Challenger Families,

What a strange ride this school year has been! We thank you again for all your love, support and endurance while helping your child learn from home for the last quarter of the school year. While we are waiting for more specific information to come from the state and district regarding how school will look in August, we do know August 17th is the day we will see you one way or another! We have been busy working on multiple plans so that whatever comes our way, we will be ready for your little ones.

This summer it will continue to be important to read! Every day! I look forward to seeing everyone’s reading list when they come back to school. The resources are abundant and our ebooks are still accessible during the summer. The public library also has the Libby app that offers a multitude of books on your devises so everyone can read anywhere! I encourage you to try it.

The school office is closed until July 20th. You can reach me at michele.wallace@hsv-k12.org between now and then with questions you might have.  Please have a safe summer!

Sincerely,

Michele Wallace Ed.D.
