Read Across America Success
The students at Challenger Elementary held Read Across America activities, in celebration of Dr. Seuss, for a whole week. On Monday they had crazy hat/hair day. Boy there were some crazy ideas! Tuesday we dressed as twins! Even some triplets (and more) appeared. Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday, and we had some interesting wacky participants. On Thursday, the students dressed as a character from their classroom-themed book. We also were sworn in as life-long readers by Judge Bell. Friday was celebrated by wearing our pajamas and participating in DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) all day long! What a fun week! We can't wait to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss next year!
