Savanna Trinkle

Who is Miss Trinkle?
Hello! My name is Savanna Trinkle. I am extra excited to be your child’s teacher this year, because this is my first year teaching! I am brand new to the Huntsville area. My favorite thing about Huntsville is hiking in Monte Sano State Park. I love exploring the trails, especially when I can venture off the beaten path! Some of my favorite things to do are cooking, baking, reading, and coloring. Aquariums make me happy! The travel bug bit me, so I am always on the lookout for my next adventure. London is my favorite place!

A Fun Fact About Miss Trinkle
For two years, I was a member of The Million Dollar Band. Music has a very special place in my heart. I love to play my clarinet for my students and encourage them to discover their creative talents.

Miss Trinkle’s Promises
I am passionate about educating children of all ability levels. It is my belief that every child can learn. Setting children up for success is central to my philosophy of education.
All children need to be loved. They need to feel loved, valued, appreciated, and safe in my classroom. I promise to love your child. A very wise kindergartener once asked me, “Miss Trinkle, do you really love us? I mean really, really love your students?” I could not believe that such a profound question came out of the mouth of a six-year-old. I sat down with that child, looked into her precious eyes, and said, “Yes, sweet heart. I don’t have any babies of my own. My students are my children! I love each and every one of you more than you can imagine.” We both teared up after that conversation. The power of a loving teacher is not something to be taken lightly. I hope that you will be able to rest a little more easily at night knowing that you will send your child to school each morning to be with a teacher who loves him or her so very much.

I cannot wait for the year ahead! We all have so much to learn! I look forward to working together to give your kiddo an awesome 2016-2017 school year!
