Chappy's Champion Readers Parade

This month we had a kick off parade to begin Chappy's Champion Reading Challenge. Students from Lee High School did a parade of readers for our students to get them excited about reading. The Lee High drumline kicked off the paraded followed by students dressed as book characters and Chappy the hedge hog ended the parade. The reading challenge the students are participating in, is to increase the amount of words read. We have a school goal of 1,000,000 words. The challenge will end April 1st. We can't wait to meet our goal!
