Heather Cleckler

Heather Cleckler Seventh Grade Collaborative Teacher at Chapman
I have been teaching special education for nine years. This is my fifth year at Chapman School, and I am delighted to be a part of the Chapman team. Being a part of a collaborative team is always rewarding. I have the privilege of working with teachers and students daily to provide intervention, remediation, and inclusion. I am also the sponsor for the Chapman Ambassadors, TedEd Club and the Student Government Association. In my spare time I enjoy canoeing, traveling, kayaking, swimming, volunteering, reading, and exploring with my husband, my twin daughters, Hayden and Meredith, and my son, Harley. There is no job better than teaching. Each day is different, and children are a constant source of amazement. They are fun to work with, and watching them learn and grow is extremely rewarding. Every day is an adventure! In addition to working with children, it is very rewarding to work with their parents as well. As partners in your child's education, we can collaborate to help your child succeed!
