American Heart Goes STEM
Calling All Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Girls:
Interested in learning what a career in science, technology, engineering or math might look like? Want to spend a day with women leaders in Huntsville, and see first-hand how they make an impact in their community through their careers in STEM fields? If so, we’re looking for YOU to join us at the inaugural AHA Goes STEM event!

We are excited to share with you information about The American Heart Association Goes STEM event. AHA Goes STEM, hosted by Dorothy Davidson at Davidson Technologies, will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. AHA Goes STEM is aimed at inspiring girls to explore STEM outside the classroom as well as to learn about being heart healthy. Participants will be exposed to some of Huntsville’s leading science, technology and engineering companies as they showcase their innovative work. This event will consist of breakout sessions led by top STEM-related organizations as well as opportunities to make lasting connections with companies and women leaders. You will walk away knowing the impact you can make through a career in STEM.

All applications will be reviewed and selected by the AHA Goes STEM Selection Committee. If you are selected, you will be notified via email by January 16, 2018. Transportation to and from the event will be provided.
