Clean Home Alabama Project

Columbia High School along with Phi Theta Kappa from Calhoun Community College in Huntsville and the Collegiate 100 from Alabama A&M University partnered together to beautify the campus of Columbia as part of the Clean Home Alabama Project.

The Clean Home Alabama Project is an initiative of the Alabama Community College System. The Clean Home Alabama Project challenges every community college in the state to volunteer their time to beautify the community. Calhoun Community College wanted to partner with Columbia because we are "neighbors in the park", a reference to both school's location in Cummings Research Park.

On Saturday morning, the above mentioned groups along with Columbia IB students picked up trash and put down new mulch in the front of the building. Future projects include pressure washing the front sidewalks.
