CSM Bartee Wins CHS "Teacher of the Year"!

Columbia High School and the Eagle Battalion are honored to announce that Command Sergeant Major, Nathaniel J. Bartee Sr.has been selected as the 2021 Columbia High School "Teacher of the Year".

CSM Bartee is very deserving of this nomination because of his dependability and ability to get things done with thoroughness, accuracy and expedience. His work ethic and integrity are to be admired.

CSM Bartee goes above and beyond the call of duty and he expects nothing less from the cadets in the JROTC program. He leads by example. He believes when you lead others, the example you set is the most powerful way you convey to them what's important. One of his favorite quotes... “Instruction is good for a child but example is worth more.”- Alexandre Dumas'.

CSM Bartee is the 9th grade JROTC teacher/instructor. CSM Bartee has been at Columbia High School for the last 3 years after 33 ½ years of Military Service with the United States Army.

Congratulations, CSM Bartee and thank you for all that you do for Columbia High School and the students!
