Impact Aid Kick-Off

Columbia High School hosted the Annual Kick-off for the Impact Aid Campaign. The Garrison Commander of Redstone Arsenal, Col. Kelsey Smith, along with the three area superintendents from Madison City, Madison County and Huntsville City School districts.Columbia High School hosted the Annual Kick-off for the Impact Aid Campaign. The gathering also heard from the Mighty Marching Eagle Band and the Cheerleaders. The JROTC posted the colors and served as ushers during the ceremony. Students should return their Impact Aid cards to their school. Impact Aid are federal funds given to the school system for students whose parents are federal employees, live in federal housing, or work of a federal contractor.

A special thanks to Mr. Miller, Col. Thurman, Mr. Porter and Mrs. Breece for assisting Dr. Cary Grant with the coordination of the program.
