Tracey Maples

Bonjour! I live in the Huntsville area with my husband, a NASA engineer who plans and monitors payload activities for the astronauts on the International Space Station. We have two dogs and love to hike with them on the local Land Trust trails. We travel often and especially love to travel to France. I love to read and garden. After nearly 30 years as a social worker, I am living my dream of teaching French! I hope to pass along my passion for all things French to my students and hope their lives are as positively affected by studying French as mine has been. I am still friends with my pen pal from the ninth grade. We were exchange students after high school and I lived with her family just outside Paris. In turn, she stayed with my family when she came to the U.S. We travel together every two years and call and text one another in between. This helps me keep up on the French language and culture.
