Coronavirus & Crisis Contingency Plan - Updated 3-29-20
Huntsville City Schools is taking the health and well being of our students and staff seriously. As a proactive measure, our Health Services and Facilities Departments are monitoring student illness and providing additional cleaning in our buildings as needed. Also, we continue to work closely with the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) for the latest guidance and recommendations regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), influenza, and other infectious illnesses/diseases.
Huntsville City Schools uses SchoolCast to communicate important updates to parents, students, and staff. All stakeholders are encouraged to login to SchoolCast to ensure that all information is up-to-date. Visit the SchoolCast page for more information.
March 29 Update
Beginning Monday, March 30th, all lunch services will be provided by community outreach partners The Rock Family Worship Center and The Dream Center, in partnership with The Manna House. Meals will be served to any youth age 18 and under between 10:30AM - 1:00PM through Friday, April 3rd. Huntsville City Schools is grateful for the support of our community!
