3rd Grade Black History Time Capsule

Third grade is celebrating Black History Month with a Time Capsule Book Project. The students each selected a book on an African American. After they read their book, they had to create a time capsule using a shoe box. Students included at least five things that represented the person they chose. They also had to write a description and paper about the items they chose. The students had a ton of fun creating their time capsules and learning about their chosen African American.
