Farley Student Council

The Farley Student Council is group of students elected by their peers. Our focus is on service projects that benefit not only the school, but also the people in our community.

How to Join / Membership Requirements:
The Farley Student Council is made up of five officers from 5th grade, President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian. Each class in 1st-5th grade will elect one boy and one girl to be class representatives. Officers and representatives attend meetings and share information with classmates. The Farley Student Council does many service projects throughout the school year. We do canned food drives, coat drives to help provide those in need with cold weather necessities, collect and count bottle caps, and raise money for needs in the school. Please let your classroom teacher know if you are interested in running as an officer or classroom representative. Officers will have to complete an application and deliver a campaign speech.
Other Info:
Farley Elementary Student Council students are dedicated to serving our community through service projects. Throughout the year they do canned food drives, collect money and items for those in need, as well as raising money for our custodians and cafeteria workers who do so much for our school. This year our students have already raised over $400.00 for needs within our community!
