Welcome Back from Principal Ashley
Greetings Farley Family,
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I hope your family is well and enjoyed the summer break. We are so excited that your child(ren) will attend Farley this school year. So, if this is your first year at Farley, WELCOME! If your child is returning, WELCOME BACK!
It has been my pleasure to serve the Farley Community for the past four years as Principal. The staff and I are anxiously looking forward to working with you and your child this school year. Farley Elementary School is a learning community that is committed to ensuring that our children grow academically, socially and emotionally. We are dedicated to our students reaching their fullest potential.
Wednesday, August 4, 2021 will be the first day of school. Parents may drop off starting at 7:30 am. Our phenomenal staff will greet students as they enter the school. All K-2nd grade students will be dropped off in the front of the school; therefore, parents will utilize the outer lane and cross over to the inner lane as you approach the front of the school. All 3rd-5th grade students should be dropped off at the side entrance, and parents are to occupy the inner lane. After 7:45 am, we will have only one lane of traffic, and all students will be dropped off at the front entrance.
Each day, students will be dismissed at 2:30 pm. All K-2nd grade students will be picked up in the front of the school. Parents are to utilize the outer lane and will be directed by the school staff when to cross over to the inner lane to pick up your child. All 3rd-5th grade students will be picked up at the side entrance, and parents will remain in the inner lane until directed by school staff to cross over to the outer lane to exit the campus. Additionally, the speed limit on campus is 5 mph, so we need everyone to adhere to this speed for the safety of our children, staff and visitors.
