Anna Kachelman

My name is Anna Kachelman and I grew up in Huntsville. I graduated from Huntsville High in 2005 and received my education degree from the University of North Alabama in 2009. I have been teaching first grade since 2009 and have loved every minute of it. Each day is a new day filled with all sorts of experiences. I would not trade my job for any other occupation. During the 2016-2017 school year I was awarded with Elementary Teacher of the Year for Huntsville City Schools. Receiving this award was a true gift and I am forever grateful!

While attending the University of North Alabama in Florence I met my husband, Matt. We married in June of 2009 and we now have two beautiful little girls, Ila and Lucy. My family and relationship with God are the two things that are the closest to my heart. My life right now is very busy while I juggle my family and work, but I would not change it for the world.
