First Day of School

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for the 2020-21 term.  Students enrolled in the Traditional Learning Framework will begin the 1st 9 weeks in Remote Learning due to the current COVID-19 health situation.  For information about what that will look like this year, please click the more information button below to view the Reset Plan Information Hub.

Leslie Carlisle

I am married and we have a VERY spoiled Doxipoo named Pepper! I graduated from Oakwood University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education, and recently I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Last year I served as a Reading Specialist, and I am excited to start this journey as a Literacy Specialist. I look forward to growing and learning together this year.

This is my 9th year in education, and my 7th year with Huntsville City Schools. I have spent the majority of my career at Blossomwood Elementary, teaching 4th and 5th Grade ELA. I also served as the Reading Specialist at Ridgecrest Elementary School.
