I have loved art for as long as I can remember. In middle school I started taking art lessons at a local Hobby Lobby, and I continued with art all through high school and college. Right out of college, I worked as a graphic designer for ADTRAN, Inc. and then Inergi, a very small marketing firm, both here in Huntsville. I was lucky enough to marry my high school sweetheart, and we have two kids, a daughter and a son, that keep things interesting at home. We love to travel, play board games, do anything artsy, and baseball. We do lots of baseball with my son. I am so excited to share my passion for art with my students. I hope to teach them how to use art as a tool for self-reflection and self-expression. My art class will introduce students to a diverse group of past and present artist, a variety of art media and artistic techniques, and provide them with a creative outlet to share their unique individuality.
