Jacque Jones

The 2018-2019 School year begins my 23rd year of educating students! My passion is to teach in a way that inspires students to find the love of learning and exploring ideas within science. I’m super excited to be part of the Grissom faculty and to have the distinct privilege to work with the students at Grissom.

Experience:
I began my teaching experience at Ridgecrest Elementary in the 5th grade. I then moved to Huntsville Middle School to begin teaching 6th grade Earth Science and coaching volleyball. I am AMSTI & LTF trained. This method produces long term learning and avoids the pit falls of short term memorization. I worked at HMS for 15 years. I also worked at Huntsville Junior High School as the Project Lead the Way teacher from 2015-2018. I got to incorporate my AMSTI training and blend it into STEM teaching.
