Starr Hurt

My purpose for teaching is to be an active role model for students. I believe that every child can learn, and it is my job to analyze and accommodate each student's learning style. I believe it is my responsibility to provide opportunities for students to achieve their personal best, become productive citizens, and embrace lifelong learning in a safe and positive environment. I have taught for 9 years at Lakewood Elementary School in the areas of Math, Science, and Social studies.
I have an awesome husband and four wonderful children of my own. I enjoy spending time with family and friends while exploring varieties of fun and exciting activities.
