Tara Hunt

Mrs. Hunt grew up outside of Birmingham, Alabama. She likes to tell people she's been practicing speech pathology for around thirty years, beginning around the time her little brother began communicating. Growing up in a family that enjoyed plays on words, puns, and the English language in general, her love of words began early. That first intro to speech path class at the University of Alabama, the home of the Crimson Tide, solidified her calling and gave it a name and a direction.

She was brought to Huntsville around 2006 as a blushing bride, instantly falling in love with the city of Huntsville. She and her groom are raising two amazing children and some dogs, as she continues on her nearly twenty year official and certified love affair with speech language pathology. Her experience began in a private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana, but the bulk has been in the school systems in the state of Alabama.
