Dana Hall

I began my classroom experience in 1993 teaching 5th grade at Nashville Christian School in Nashville, TN. After marrying my husband, I was a substitute teacher in Huntsville for a year. In 1995 I was hired at Huntsville Middle School as a 6th grade English and social studies teacher. I stayed there for the next eight years. When Hampton Cove Middle School opened in 2003, I transferred there, still as an English and social studies teacher. I have remained happily there ever since.
Why you choose to teach: I had many inspiring teachers in school that made learning exciting. They made teaching look like a meaningful career where I could make a difference.

Hobbies, family, etc.: I am married to Kevin Hall, and we have two children. Kendall is a junior at Huntsville High School and Grayson is a sixth grader at Hampton Cove Middle. My favorite things to do are read and travel with my family, especially to Disney!
