Principal's Message (November 23)

Dear HCMS Families,

Monday and Tuesday our students will engage in remote learning opportunities for each class period with their teachers. Please keep in mind that work may be assigned and graded within each class. I wish our HCMS family a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. We have so much to be grateful for.

Speaking of next Monday and Tuesday, while our students and teachers are participating in remote learning our staff will continue planning for the changes to our HVA structure for second semester. I am eager to share information with you as our plan develops! At this point, I know HCMS will create virtual classes with an HCMS teacher for our HVA students. This will cause changes within our master schedule that will impact our traditional students as well. We will try to minimize change, but teachers and students in both the traditional and HVA status will be affected. I am eager to find ways to make the second semester better than the first for both our HVA and traditional students, our HCMS families, and our HCMS staff.
