This Week at HCMS (Sept 9)

HCMS Families,

Thank you to those of you who joined us for Coffee and Conversations on Friday morning. It was a small group, but I was able to share some important information about our school. I described an infograph which summarizes our Strategic Plan during our meeting. You’ll note that this plan mirrors our Huntsville City Schools Strategic Plan which you may have heard Mrs. Finely share. When our school report card is released (scheduled for October), I will host another opportunity for you to come and learn more about our school and our grade.

In advisory this week, we’ll continue our discussions on bullying. Students will also be invited to sign our No Place for Hate banner to signify their commitment to creating a bully-free environment. I encourage you to continue to talk with your child at home about what they can do to be a part of the solution rather than part of the problem when it comes to bullying.

Thank you for all you do to support our school and community. I’m looking forward to another great week of leading and learning!

Mrs. V
