Thanks so much for your support with our last fundraiser. We look forward to enhancing the enrichment opportunities for our students with the proceeds!

Huntsville Drumline Program:

The weekly drum lessons will continue on Fridays until further notice. We have room for a couple more students in grades 3-6 to join the program. Please ask for an application in the front office These lessons take place on Fridays from 3:00-4:30pm and are free of charge! Students learn many great skills during these lessons, including reading music, cooperation, and teamwork.

Read Across America Week:

Throughout the last week of February, we will celebrate Read Across America Week! We will send home more information in the coming weeks, but one exciting event will be the Book Character Parade on March 2nd. Please help your child plan a character costume that goes along with their favorite book. No masks please! Each student will carry the book featuring their character during the parade on March 2nd. They may check the book out of our library. We invite you to attend the parade. If you are interested, please sign in at the front desk and meet us in the cafeteria at 9:15am.

Black History Month:

We have a number of Black History Month activities going on this month. In addition to our door contest and traveling wax museum, we will host two assemblies. The assemblies will feature a number of students who will highlight various aspects of Black History. Please come join us on February 27th at 9:00am or 1:00 pm in the cafeteria. All parents and family members are welcome.

Student-led Conferences:

We invite each of you to attend our first round of student-led conferences. Your child will share their most recent data with you, discuss their progress and goals, and give you some insight on their recent learning. We will send home more information soon. Please make plans to join us on the evening of March 22nd beginning at 6:00pm.
