4th and 5th grade are back at it again, battling it out in a game of multiplication facts. A student from one grade will go head to head with a student from the opposing grade in a quick time flash card competition. Here’s a rundown of the rules. The student to say the correct answer first remains at the front of the line for a chance to multiply against another student. The student who does not say the correct answer first will be out, for a chance to compete again the next month. The grade with the last student standing will be declared the winner. These two grades will have several practice rounds before the final multiplication fact competition. So far the teams have met for two practices and one competition. While 5th grade won both practice rounds, 4th grade came in for the win for the actual multiplication fact challenge. We can’t wait for next month’s math fact competition!
