Mrs. Amber Hall, WLMS Principal

Greetings! My name is Amber Hall and I am the principal of Westlawn Middle School. Westlawn is a great place for students to learn and grow. We have had a lot to celebrate over the past few years. I am looking forward to many more celebrations of student learning this year! Our Westlawn Warriors are on a roll!

I have earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in History Education (6-12) and English as a Second Language (PK-12). I also have Master’s degrees in both History and Instructional Leadership.

I have been in Huntsville City Schools for ten years. I taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade history and multi-level ESL courses at Huntsville High School and various college courses at Calhoun Community College before transitioning into instructional leadership. Over the past couple of years, I have had the pleasure of serving as an administrator, through the TOSA program, at both Highlands Elementary and Huntsville High School. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to put these experiences to work as I serve the Westlawn students, faculty, and community.

I look forward to this school year and all of the possibilities that it holds. We have high expectations and big plans to accomplish this year. I invite you all to get involved in supporting the great students and teachers at Westlawn!
