50 HHS Panthers Compete in CyberPatriot
October 22 saw 50 students from HHS compete in Round 1 of CyberPatriot XIV (14). HHS's top team score a perfect 300 points in the six hour competition. The other eight teams hosted by HHS all performed at or above expectations says CyberPatriot Coach Jim Morse.
Current standings puts the team of Alton Hudson, Chris Bedsole, Eva Aubel, Aslinn Hamill, Hailey Holsonback and Megan Quinn tied for the best in the nation and state. HHS JROTC sits at #2 in the state amoung JROTC units that are competing.
CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Students act as network administrators in a mock company to secure their servers and computers to prevent cyber attacks
