Chemistry Club

To further the knowledge of Chemistry, and to contribute to the community.

How to Join / Membership Requirements:
All students who are either enrolled in or are currently taking a Chemistry class are eligible for membership.
Interested students must join the Chem Club Edmodo group (the group code will be posted on Chemistry classroom doors no later than August 31), pay a $10.00 membership fee/end of year dinner fee, AND purchase at least one hygiene item (soap, deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.) to secure membership.

T-shirts are available for purchase.
Other Info:
Meetings are held each nine weeks in the Lecture Hall. There are always two meetings (one is a makeup meeting). Speakers from the community (doctors, engineers, pharmacists, etc.,) discuss the relevance of Chemistry to their career, as well as developments in the field. Science DVD's are shown as well.

During homecoming week, students produce fliers with chemistry-related messages/graphics to inspire the football team and generate school spirit.
