Cyberspace has become the battle ground of crime. Business and government secrets are mishandled and leaked to our rivals, our individual privacy is being trampled. Strengthening the security and resilience of our nation's cyberspace has become critical.

Huntsville High's security club and competition teams are helping to develop our nation's cyber workforce by teaching students the skills they need to help secure the nation's cyberspace.

How to Join / Membership Requirements:
Membership is based on interest and the ability to attend meetings. We will compete in three levels; beginners, intermediate and advanced (varsity). Beginners are encouraged to take the Foundations of InfoSec course and attend at least one of the PowerHour meetings. Students with some experience and want to be considered for varsity must also attend at least one of the varsity practices. Varsity teams are expected to attend all meetings possible. See Col. Murphy or Coach Morse for more information.
