Cyberspace has become the battle ground of crime. Business and government secrets are mishandled and leaked to our rivals, our individual privacy is being trampled. Strengthening the security and resilience of our nation's cyberspace has become critical. Huntsville High's security club and competition teams are helping to develop our nation's cyber workforce by teaching students the skills they need to help secure the nation's cyberspace.

How to Join / Membership Requirements:
Team membership is based on tryouts and the ability to attend practices. We will field teams in advanced, intermediate and beginner categories with tryouts in October. The club is currently offering training sessions for the 2019-2020 season during PowerHour on Wednesday and Friday. Training sessions are an hour long so bring a lunch and join us for a lunch and learn session. See Col. Murphy or Coach Morse for more information.
Other Info:
Last season was exiting; winning the CyberPatriot State Championships, placing 17th out of over 6000 teams and winning the Cyber Cup Challenge at the National Cyber Summit held in Huntsville. We also have a member of the team (two years in a row) that was selected to attend the International Cyber Security Leaders Exchange where she traveled to the UK, Southern California and Washington DC building relationships with students from the UK and from around the USA along with meeting Government Officials and attending a collegiate level cyber camp.
