Graciela Bryant

I am very excited to be your teacher this year at Huntsville High. I look forward to getting to know you better as we start our journey together. Foremost, I am here to help you grow and develop both personally and academically, for within each of you resides tremendous potential to map and follow your own life journey.

First, I would like to share a little about myself. Originally, I am from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a place where I later graduated and ran track and cross country at Middle Tennessee State University. Thereafter, I earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Ecology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am happily married to a wonderful husband, Ken and have two beautiful children, Kenny, age 13, and Sarita, age 11. As both a teacher and a coach, I view my role primarily as a "facilitator of learning," a process that I believe is both dynamic and personal to each of you. I love embedding the use of multimedia, technology, and service learning projects in the classroom. Above all, my professional goal is to instill within each of you a deep understanding and appreciation of a healthy lifestyle, and particularly, its impact on the vitality of our great nation..
