First Day of School

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for the 2020-21 term.  Students enrolled in the Traditional Learning Framework will begin the 1st 9 weeks in Remote Learning due to the current COVID-19 health situation.  For information about what that will look like this year, please click the more information button below to view the Reset Plan Information Hub.

Guidance Counseling

The Huntsville High School Counseling and Guidance Program is designed to transcend these diversities through implementation of a framework employed to ensure a comprehensive program that will meet the needs of all students who attend Huntsville High School. The mission of Huntsville High School’s School Counseling Program is to assist in preparing students to compete successfully and contribute responsibly in our global society by providing high expectations, encouragement, and support in the areas of academics, career exploration, and personal/ social development. HHS Counselors work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and community members to empower students to become productive, self-reliant citizens and lifelong learners.
